Urban INC stands for Urban Insights Center and is a non-governmental, non-profit founded in Bucharest, Romania in June 2010, which develops educational and cultural projects to transform the way in which transitional cities solve their problems.
We work towards formulating new perspectives on urban dynamics in Romania and to bring together stakeholders in the processes of urban and regional development, to experiment, learn and scale new solutions.
Our current programmes are Global Future, Process design, Play the City and the Urban INC Conferences.
The Urban INC space works as a logistical resource for informing and developing projects which benefit wider communities. Urban INC is an interface for the Creative Room Association. The Urban INC format was initially financed through the “Urban Insights Center” by EEA Grants 2009-2014 through the NGO Fund in Romania.
